Holi Celebration with Minority Refugees from Sindh


 13th March 2017, Delhi.
Centre for Social Development and Research Foundation (CSDR Foundation) celebrated Holi with the refugees at the Majnu ka Tila Pakistani Hindu Refugee Camp on 13th March 2017. While the festival of colors should have been a moment for joy and fun for the community, the question of why do they had to take shelter in a different country remains. Why does minority community not feel safe in Pakistan remains unanswered by the Pakistani establishment? During the celebrations were present the Founder Director of the foundation, Mr. Vivek Sharma, the music coordinator Chetan, Khyati Gupta,pallavi,pulkit and others. The team from the foundation also engaged the community in music and dance activities. Mr. Sonadas,Pradhan from the community sang beautiful songs and bhajans during the celebrations. Chetan and others also participated in the activity. The program was very well received by the community and the people from the camp were appreciative of the efforts of the foundation. Children, young adults and adults all were equally happy and enthusiastic.
